The Story
From a Passion to a Purpose
I don't teach children to be artists. I teach them to believe they already are.
Manny has been creating art for as long as she can remember. Growing up, art was the one place where there were no wrong answers — just colour, texture, and the quiet satisfaction of making something from nothing. That feeling never left him.
After years working as a professional artist and community programs across Sydney, Manny noticed something consistent: the children who struggled most in traditional classrooms often came alive in the art room. Not because art was easy — but because it gave them a different kind of success to hold onto.
Hue By Manny grew out of that observation. A studio where children aren't just taught techniques, but given the space to experiment, fail, try again, and ultimately surprise themselves. Where the process matters as much as the finished piece.

We celebrate the journey, not just the result. Children are encouraged to experiment, make mistakes, and discover what works for them — not copy a template.
Every Child is an Artist
There's no such thing as 'not being creative'. We meet every child where they are and build from there — whether they're picking up a brush for the first time or refining a technique they've been practising for years.
Small Groups, Big Impact
With a maximum of 10 children per session, Manny can give every child genuine attention. No one gets lost in the crowd. No one feels left behind.
Art as Emotional Language
For many children, art is how they process the world. We create a safe, expressive environment where feelings can be explored through colour, form, and imagination — without words.
